It is not mandatory to have computer as subject in 11 & 12th for doing BTech CSE. But I will advice you to learn at least C++ programming before you join BTech CS, this skill will come quite handy to you.

Don't go for engineering. You can pursue analytical chemist course as it has good scope. Else, you can do M.Sc or Ph.D if you are willing to study. Don't opt for B.Sc. If you are a bio student then go for biotechnology. Biotechnology has good scope too. Choose wisely.
All the best.

Majority of Indian engineering institutes have BTech Computer Science. Few institutes have BTech IT in addition to BTech CS. Both degrees differs in few courses. CS has more emphasis on Computational Theory fundamentals and IT on Business Applications. Few engineering Institutes offer BTech Information Science. This course is similar to BTech IT with few additional courses such as ERP SCM CRM Data Analytics etc. It is more of computer systems application degree. I personally do not find much difference between IT and Information Science branches.

Yes, co-curricular activities always help. Try volunteering at some NGO as well to show social work on your CV. And improving CGPA is very important, so focus in that as well. You will also be required to appear for IELTS, so aim at scoring at least 7 bands overall so that your admission process is smooth.
