The main difference between MBA and PGDM is that MBA is a degree and is offered by universities, whereas, PGDM is a post-graduate diploma offered by AICTE approved institutes.
MBA Masters in Business Administration
PGDM Post Graduate Diploma in Management
Both MBA and PGDM in Thiagarajar School Of Management(TSM), Madurai are equally good.

Hello,
As per your marks, there are low chances to get a seat at SASTRA University.
If you have appeared for JEE Mains then you may have some good chances but if you have not then your chances will be almost nil.
Your percentage should be at least 85-90% if you have not appeared for JEE Mains.
There are 2 admission processes:
1) JEE Mains+board exam marks
2) Only board exam marks.
So for stream 2, your chances are very low.

In terms of faculty standards, both institutes are good. But average placement package of Alliance business school is slightly better than PES. Alliance is having a top class infrastructure too.

Direct taxation, assuming you are working in India in a big four or a mid-sized firm, would involve a major portion of practical application of Income tax sections and case laws learned in your CA final exam. It would involve filing replies to AO (Assessing officer) for tax demands raised on your clients, filing petitions, tax planning, tax consulting for companies planning to invest in India etc. I feel it would be really interesting to apply the sections of the act and fight for your client. You can specialize in this field and start your own practise after about five to ten years as you do need a good network of peers and clients wh

Sorry to say but you haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So, there is no way to get any college that gives admission on basis of JEE Mains score.
You may get admission in any private college on the basis of 12th percentage.

Depends on the college you to take admission. There are many colleges affiliated with the university, so it gives a lot of scope to the students with ranks crossing 4-5k to get admission.

According to my opinion, taking a drop is not worth for a course like engineering because the course is same whether you study in any institute. Only the salary packages are different.

Hello Ramkishor,
After doing B.Sc, you are not eligible to take GATE exam as it is for BE/B.Tech graduates to do M.Tech from IITs. Only with a B.Sc or BCA degree you cannot take GATE exam.
You can do M.Sc and then you can appear for GATE exam. You need to have M.Sc degree if you have done B.Sc, but if you have completed B.Tech or BE degree then you are eligible directly for GATE.
