On the basis of JEE Mains, you can take admission in HBTU Kanpur, but if you belongs from general category and looking for admission in best state government college Uttar Pradesh there is no chance to get admission through UPSEE, but on your JEE Mains percentile, you can easily get admission in HBTU and other best state government college of India.

Yes, you can change your language from English to Hindi but only in 1st year, once you reach 2nd year, no changes can be made. For changing your language, you have to write an application to Chairperson of UG admission or you can do it directly through the website too, but only when admissions are open.

You have not mentioned anything about which state which college etc. However, speaking in general, from this year onwards, JEE Mains score in percentile will be used or the ranking will be used by different entities for deciding merit list and then the admission. Best wishes.

Hello,
Getting admission in IIT is a dynamic process. If there are enough candidates of a particular category above announced cutoffs then admission is easier. Last year there were not enough candidates in some categories meaning all who scored above cutoff got admission? Just wait for few days for the announcement of cutoff of JEE Advanced.
