Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like tu suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry as well. System Admin, Network Admin, Security Admin, Database Admin, Software Developer, Web Developer and many more. Most of the Servers are running on Linux Servers. If u choose Linux platform as ur career option will be the futuristic approach. RHCE, RHCSS, RHCEV, JBOSS, LAMP, WAMP, XAMP CCNA, MCSE, JCP, OCP are some of the Leading Specialization areas where u can get some International kind of quality Certification. Don't u think that after getting Technically qualified Certification u will get high salaried technical JOB?

Thanx @manmeet. Well I am not an expert but keen student and Learner. By the way Ritu, innovation is in thinking not in asking. If I understood your answer correctly, basically you want to be a developer & entrepreneur. There are entrepreneur development programs, entrepreneurship cells and entrepreneurship help desks in various government ministries like Min of Commerce and private associations like CII and FICCI. But no body can teach/coach you on how to innovate. As a fresher, you have not experienced the real world and still unaware as how things move in product development, testing, prototype, approvals, adherence to various standards like ISI, CE, IEEE etc, patent and safeguard, marketing, commercial viability etc.
Therefore, the best method to learn these aspects is to join an organization which is research oriented and gain few year of experience. Such organizations are DRDO, BARC, ISRO, Google, Adobe, Samsung research centers. Every year these organizations file hundreds of patents. The benefit with these kind of organization is that resources are made available to you for product developments, experiments and research.
Some innovations like Mobile Application development does not require resources other than computer & internet connectivity. Similarly, You will have to think in a manner, that minimum resources can be utilized which are within your reach.
