The Staff Service Commission (SSC) conducts an entrance exam annually for the recruitment of candidates in the tax department.
The basic qualification required to apply for the SSC is a degree from a recognized University or its equal.
So pick graduation in a relevant discipline. One of the best approaches while deciding on your subjects/ stream is to opt for or look at doing something that you are good at and would enjoy keeping in mind your personality, aptitude, ability, strengths and career goals.

You can definitely apply for job profiles of lecturer in various engineering colleges, but some private colleges may not allow on the basis of degree being obtained as part-time.
It purely depends on the college where you will apply, but yes many college options will be there for you after you complete with your PG.

Physical Education is not included in the best four for admission into B.A Economics H since it is a vocational subject and can be considered only if you are willing to pursue graduation in the same.
The best four will include one language (English) and three academic subjects relevant to the course applied for.
