Dear Pradhan, if you are "Other Ranks" then it means you have done AMIE which is equivalent of B.Tech. If you are an AE(L) or AE(M) officer then you are an engineering college graduate. Now, in both the cases, I will advice you to stay with IAF and work on your career there itself. If you believe in hard study and complex programming then java is good.
After doing course in java you will not only understand JAVA But can understand any other language easily. .
And since it is a platform interdependent language it have great scope. . C and JAVA are like evergreen language . .
In other hand .NET also have good scope but it will give you expertise in only window programming. IT Is also an easy to understand language. .it decreased 90% of programming . .
JAVA have better scope then .NET
