It is so since it will mean you are switching sides in between the course which invariably is not allowed. However you have an option. You can think of getting admission in the first year of engineering in a college abroad based on your marks of 12th. For this, I will strongly advice you to approach an agency which is dealing with sending students abroad for engineering studies.
