Duration :
Minimum: 2 years (4 semesters).

Lateral entry to the second semester of MAJM:
Eligibility:
3 year Graduation with one year Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication or 1 year work experience in the field related to Journalism and Mass Communication thereafter.
Additional fees: In addition to the normal fees, an additional lateral entry fee of Rs 3,800/- (including examination fees) is payable by students opting for this scheme.

As you are in second year of your B.tech, it would be advisable for you to complete your undergraduate degree and after completing it, you can opt to pursue MS from US.
