As per your query, do not worry you can complete your graduation without pondering over the gap that you must be having. First of all try to contact the college in which you were studying, you can continue from there in case they offer you lateral entry.
Else there is an education body called NCC Education that give credit to your every level of education. So your two years would not go waste rather would be taken as Diploma and Advanced Diploma respectively so you become eligible for 3rd year as per their rules.
