Hi Ashutosh, NIFT Entrance Exam is conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. The examination mainly takes place in the month of February.
It includes both Written and Personality test followed by group discussion and personal interview. Written comprises of General Ability Test (GAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT) and Managerial Ability Test (MAT).
Eligibility Criteria:
-Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
-BFA, B.Arch and Bachelor in Applied Arts are also eligible.
-The age limit ranges from 21- 30 years.
Thorough preparation is needed for examination. Online guides as well as paper back guides can help you to get an idea about the questions. Besides this you can also seek help from friends. Well in case of Distance Education, you are not eligible to sit for Campus Placements. Yet I would say to confirm the same from the concerned college/university you pursuing your program of study. I would also suggest you to keep a track of companies (related to your specialized field) and also regularly make individual efforts so as not to loose in the end.
I would also advice you to start working on traits like confidence, communication, personality development, current affairs, time management as these are very important to strive out in any organization.

GRE is a exam which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MS in engineering and related fields from USA and Germany, GRE score are one of the important eligibility criteria to get admission in universities in US, a good GRE score increases the chance of getting admission good universities.
In August 2011, the GRE revised General Test, replaced the GRE General Test.
The tests has various sections namely:
Verbal Reasoning:
It measures student's ability to analyze and evaluate written material and get information from it.
Quantitative Reasoning:
It measures student's ability solve the problem.
Analytical Writing:
It measures student's critical thinking and analytical writing skills.
Each section in the new GRE will be scored on a scale of 130-170, making 340 the high score and 260 the low score.
