Eligibility for B.Ed admission bin Annamalai University (distance education):
As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognised by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission intoAnnamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course.
The students must have a graduate degree from a recognized university under 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology, History and Geography are required to be eligible for admission.
Students with post graduation qualification inEconomics, Commerce and Home Science are also eligible for the programme.

NDA stands for the National Defence Academy exam. NDA is conducted by UPSC. UPSC NDA is the national-level examination which is conducted to recruit qualified candidates as officers in the Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air-force. After completing the training, the candidates get the rank of Lieutenant and work at the same salary
The entry through NDA is open for Flying branch, Ground duty (tech) and Ground duty (non tech). All cadets of Flying branch and Ground duty (tech) would be offered B Tech in NDA and cadets of Ground duty (Non-tech) would be offered B.Sc. Degree. The fee for NDA training, including accommodation, books, uniforms, boarding and medical treatment, will be borne by the Government. Parents or guardians of cadets will be required to meet their pocket and other private expenses. Normally, these expenses will not likely exceed INR 3000/- Per Month.
