The brand name of the organization, is the most critical aspect, which you need to look at. Designations do not really matter, at the start of your career. This is because different organizations will have different designations, for the same job profile.

Hi Jyothi,
As you are applying for the UPSC exams, the preparation needs to be real strong in terms of your basic education, fundamentals, language, G.K. There are hardly any steps that one can opt for definite success, but then all one can guide is as the first phase consist of General studies and general aptitude which would include the G.K, current affairs and also your general education from about 7th standard to 12th.
In case of the main exam, the study pattern shall highly depend on your optional subjects as per your interest. The syllabus will differ and you will require to gather proper reference text and cover the entire syllabus

Hi Anukrit, a MSC in the subject is difficult to find. While looking for your course I came across MBA in Finance Management - Investment Banking and Wealth Management offered by SP Jain Centre of Management. This course requires 2-3 yrs work experience and a GMAT or CAT or SPJAT. Or else MDIS offers a MS in Banking and Finance if it interests you.
If going to UK interests you then University of Glasgow (a well known univ and always in top 15) offers a MSC in Investment Banking and Finance.
If you like this answer then kindly mark it as the best answer or rate it thumbs up. Please feel free to post queries if you have any.
