Manav Rachna (MRIU) is a deemed University under UGC. You can get admission into it if you just have a score card of AIEEE/IIT.
There is no rank criteria as far as I have known. Ranks ranging from 50k to 10 Lakhs are admitted here.
College Fee is quite high and you have other options like GD Goenka and Amity Noida with a little bit variations in their fee structure as compared to MRIU.
You can opt for either hostel or stay in P.G. in the nearby Sectors. You will get all the facilities you will think of like Central Library, Sports Ground, Great Campus, Students from Different Cultute and States etc.
And there are no such restrictions in campus.
Now, the most important part I.e. Placements. MRIU is not so good at Placements with an Average Package of 23 Lakhs. Though most of CS/IT students do get placed but there are very few companies that come for the Mechanical Department and those too are not up to the mark.
So, if youre looking for a good Exposure and Extra Co Curricular Activities, then MRIU is a good option otherwise you can go for AMITY or GD GOENKA which are actually better.
Just keep these things in your mind.
Maintain a CGPA of Above 6 or 60% and clear Back Logs asap.
Submit your assignments on time. They will not only help you get noticed among teachers but also help you in internals.
Enjoy College Life. Dont be just stuck from your Block to Shibiya (Sutta Point).
Participate. Participate in Anything and Everything whether its an event, Sport, Seminar, Interview, Blood Donation etc.
Take Major Project and internship semester seriously. It holds much Importance.
