I don't know about DIT University but I can shed some light on Lovely Professional University. The Lovely Professional University (LPU) has been ranked 47th among all government & private universities in India, in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022, which was released by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently. As per you rank in WBJEE, you will not get top 3 private colleges, and moving beyond top 3 colleges are not very much worth, so you should take a break of 1 year and put in your best to get some of the best colleges.

Since your grades are not too good, I won't suggest engineering unless you really want to do it. Other options will also depend if you want to study Science or want to shift to something else. Options for you include B.Sc Maths, Physics or Chemistry

Hi Ankit,
As per the NIRF rankings 2017, the ranking of SRM is 35 but KIIT is 47. And also, the placements and exposure are better at SRM University than at KIIT especially for computer science. So it is better to join SRM University.

MBA is an excellent career switch option. As you are not interested in pursuing M.Sc MBA can be a good option for a good career. It will provide you lots of opportunities and scope for growth. But you are advised to appear for top MBA exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, SNAP, NMAT, IIFT, etc. to seek admission in any of top B-school of India. You have alternate career option of joining Civil Services, Defence Services or Paramilitary forces.
