Hii Latha,
Hope you are doing good. Firstly, congratulations for getting qualified in JEE Mains. It depends on the branch you wish. On average in the worst case I think 35-40% in a tough paper is preferable. Please tell me the branch you wish in IIT Madras so that I could answer you accordingly.

Hello,
As you said you are going to fail in JEE Mains. Let me clear there is nothing to be like fail, it just means that you are not qualified for government, NIT and IIIT colleges. With the marks you are getting in JEE, you can go for state counselling and you can study in the best private college of your state. Try to search the fates for state counselling and go ahead in your future.
All the best.
