Akansha, Degrees would usually have similar content. It's more to do with a Qualitative student and Qualitative atmosphere of learning. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. All engineering branches, may be except for chemical have equal opportunities lined up. May be ECE and Mechanical are more good as they are basic engineering courses and open a wide array of opportunities. CSE and IT are more derived engineering branches where you are limiting yourself on your engineering knowledge and career opportunities.
