Hello dear,
For admission in BCA course, you need your 10+2 with PCM stream with 55%. Because BCA has lots about maths. Then maths background is more preferred. Some colleges gives admission to bio students also by entrance exam.

If you are getting chemical at old iits I would say go for it. Old IITs (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Roorkee, Kharagpur, Guwahati), else compare each IIT placement and MNNIT placement then choose accordingly.

The basic eligibility for this course is 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from CBSE/ICSE/State Board or equivalent. Students who have appeared in 10+2 or any other intermediate level examination and are awaiting results, can also apply for the programme and can be admitted on a provisional basis. If you are looking for cut-off marks based on entrance test, then please specify the entrance test via which you are applying. Regards.

Nope, I don't think so. I'll suggest you to go for Atharva College it's not better in terms of placements but teachers are very helpful and mostly, they don't give internal KT's to any of their students. Attendance is not a problem too.

NIT offers admission on the basis of JEE Main score and 75% marks in higher secondary, so you are not eligible for that and marks are also not enough to get an NIT. Don't lose hopes. Try for state government and good private universities. Good luck.

There are many colleges that accept lateral entry in second year for engineering. You need to have completed a diploma course from any recognised Polytechnic College with percentage marks as per AICTE norms for securing admission.
