HBTU is way better than UIET, first of all, its the quality of students that reach there in HBTU, next you can compare placements between these colleges. Most of the non-core branches in HBTU have 100% placement. Companies like Samsung, Amazon, Maruti, General Motors, Asian paints, BEL etc visit HBTU. Students crack very good ranks in competitive exams. The only cons in HBTU is that infrastructure is a little bit disappointing in terms of the standard of the college.

In terms of placement both the branches are equal. But being in CS you will get good grades as compared to mechanical branch.Faculties are better in mechanical engineering(that's my point of view) and are often concerned about conducting various workshops/seminars for students.Afterall it's based on your interest what you want to do.Also there is not much difference in mechanical and CS cutoffs.

Hey,
The course of visual communications is extremely vague. There will be lots of scopes after doing graduation in this field but not a specific one.
The syllabus they teach in this course is not specified, in the sense, they don't cover a single subject. It's about drawing, photography, Tv production, etc.
What you can do after graduation in visual communications is:
- Journalism
- Animation
- Graphic Artist
- Industrial Designer
All the best.
