The NET is a national level exam, which is conducted for the determination of the candidates for assistant professor posts in the universities and colleges and for the junior research fellowship awards in the research field. There are some eligibility criteria you need to fulfill to be eligible for the exam as follows:
Complete the post-graduation degree from a recognized university with more than 55% marks. There is 5% marks relaxation for the reserved category candidates. You should not apply for the reservation seat as you do not have your caste certificate. As when the colleges check your documents, it will be a great risk for your candidature in the college. Therefore, it should not be the option for taking admission, as you don't have any proof.
