It is better to focus on a specific course of action in a wide field e.g. corporate law. Company Law is one such option. You can opt for Company Secretary course from ICSI. A post graduation in business laws is again a broad option.

Regular Law courses are conducted by the colleges on Full time basic. After completing one can register with Bar council of India & hence can practice in court. Correspondence courses are also conducted by some colleges but without attending the classes. Bar Council not approve such type of degrees.

English is required for law when you are dealing with the sections particularly the vocabulary used in these words are highly difficult to understand, language is highly traditional. No problem with dedication and hard work you can improve.
First refer basic books like Riemann murphy English grammar very basic level you can refer on your own with out help of others and then you can go coaching for advanced level. Even in coaching classes they are teaching basic level English. Hardly with in six months you can learn (both basic+advanced level English)
