You have done the Diploma in IT and now you are saying that you are not interested in coding. Okay, there are plenty of opportunities that you have after completion of the Diploma. You can think of taking a lateral admission in another branch of engineering if you want to continue in engineering studies, else if you want to change track, you can think of doing some other graduation based on your Diploma as equivalent to class 12th. It all actually depends on what is it that you want, which subject fascinates you or which subjects makes you motivated to study. I could not find any information about lateral admission in Symbiosis skills Open University. You have done your Diploma in automobile engineering, and you want take lateral admission. You can do so by logging on to the portal of directorate of Technical Edu of Government of Maharashtra. Here, you will come to know which different colleges for offering the facility of lateral admission. If you are interested in doing Engineering only in symbiosis, then you can contact them from the link which I am attaching and ask them about your specific query maybe they will allow you to join at first year making Diploma as equivalent to class 12th.
