It depends on which college you apply and the criteria out there. If you are applying in Christ University you may be shortlisted but if you apply in NIT-A, you might not be. So, after all it depends on the college you are applying. GDPI and what also matter to get admission thus apply in the college where you want to study.

Not really, below 60% in 12th doesn't really affect your placement that much there are some big companies that come with the eligibility criteria of 60% and above in all academics that may affect it depends on your college that what kind of companies come for placements. Talking about the 1-year work experience so yes this will be a plus point for your placements MBA with work experience really adds value for placements.

Your eligibility depends on your credibility. There are two ways to get admission. Direct way or by passing the entrance exam. It takes a high rank to get a seat in SRCC (top 20, as I've heard). You can get more details by looking at their official site. Here's the link http://www.commercedu.com/mcom/

It does not make much sense to do a BCA after you have completed a Diploma in architecture, unless you are interested in studying computer sciences and pursuing a career in the same field.
To improve your career prospects you need to study further either in your technical field or in a general area of study. If you wish to study further to improve your job prospects, then as a Diploma-holder, you can seek lateral entry to the second year of BE. Several engineering colleges offer this provision. You can pursue your Bachelors in architecture from Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) through correspondence. It conducts non-formal engineer

Hi Mayur, The best way to choose the University is to compare with all the important aspects. You cannot waste your 4 years anywhere and then regret like what I have done. Make a checklist for yourself and compare. I am telling you few pointers to compare and for the fact check you can drop a call to every University and then you can ask the details what you have jotted down. Placements
Infrastructure
Labs
Faculty
Practical and Industry Exposure
Curriculum
And please don't search the best University to do any programme. Instead write that if you want to do say B.Tech, then write which Universities are offering B.Tech.

Hi Ayushi,
No, there is no such criteria of mark deduction or anything. You can simply apply to the colleges that you are interested in and appear for their entrance exam. Admission in Mass Communication is irrespective of the stream you had in your 10+2 standard.

A five-year integrated MBA saves the candidate from appearing for entrance exam and selection process twice (at UG and PG level), saving one year that goes into the preparation of CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, etc.
Different institutes/universities have different selection criteria for BBA+MBA programme. Some of them conduct their own entrance exam, and some accept centralized entrance exam score. There are many colleges which offer seats on the basis of merit only. A candidate planning to pursue BBA+MBA must keep a few things in mine
CMAT is not required for entering the course.
