Hello niharika. There are lots of NITs and each has different cutoff ranks for different branches. So whether or not you'll get admission in one depends upon which state you belong to, which state you want to take admission in and what branch you want.
You can check you expected rank here:
https://www.shiksha.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Apart from NITs, there are other colleges that take admission through JEE mains score, like DTU, NSIT, Jamia Milia, Jaypee etc. Or else you can take other tests like bits, Manipal, srm, IPU etc to get admission into these colleges.

I mean you are eligible but I don't think you will get into any NIT because cutoff goes high and you don't have enough marks for that.

Among the two Engineering will be a better option because in this case you will be earning a reputed degree for your self but in Tata apprentice you will get only a certificate and it will not be of much value as compared to Engineering degree. Also after pursuing Engineer ING you would have more options for career growth and learning but Tata apprentice will not help you in your future growth and the time span for growth and development will be slow in case of Apprentice as compared to Engineering. So you should go for engineering rather than apprentice.
