Hi subhanu mishra, it's better to take admission in any UG college than dropping out for a year. Based on your score if you just miss into top iit's or nit's I suggest you to work hard for one more year but that does not happen for most of the students only around 5-10% are successful. There are many top private institutions which are far better than some of the nit's like (BITS,VIT,MIT,.) go to them and check out, they all maintain very good standards in education.
Good luck.

BSc and BSc(Hons) are 3 year academic degrees. There is a slight difference between the two academic degrees. BSc (Hons) is more specialized and rigrous as compared to the BSc degree which is relatively generic. BSc (Hons) is now a standard degree with more acceptance.

Hi Maha Lakshmi,
Yes, you can study literally anything you want if you are truly interested in it. You can pursue interior designing however for admissions universities will ask for a portfolio or sample of your work. Go for it if you are interested to have a career in interior designing and if you believe you have the creative side in you.
