The eligibility criteria of companies will determine your candidature.
Because many good companies shall define minimum First Class in Graduation, so you can even apply.
But many companies shall prefer and give weightage to your M.Tech. so, search for those companies and apply and be successful.

I suggest if possible do a part-time or some short time course which has a classroom learning. Distance learning in Design courses is not recommended.
