With subjects like Maths and Economics, there are ample of options available with you like opt for Masters in Economics, MBA, MCA, get in teaching/ lectureship through UGC NET. Choosing/ deciding a stream will entirely depend on your area of interest, this means your career goals, your subject liking etc.

There no such course to be an astronaut , an Engineer who is required to work directly on a satellite or a Scientist who wants to be at the outer space some study or any one who has some specialty which is required is selected by the space agencies then rigorous training and health check up then they are sent and people know them as astronaut . How ever the Air force are always at the top in the list of " to be astronaut "
