To pursue MCom you need to have passed a Graduate degree with Commerce, Economics or BBA from any recognised university. Different Universities have specific criterea for admission and may either take in students through an admission test or through direct application. A minimum percentage at the undergraduate level (normally 45-55%) is the required eligibility for application. The year of graduation or gap years in between graduation and post graduation is normally not considered by the colleges or by future employers as long as you can show that you have spent the time productively.

There are lots of career options available. You've been already briefed about various career options available so you can choose any if them. But if you are aiming at Civil Services then UPES' recently launched BA Public Policy with IAS coaching embedded program could be the best option for you. Find out what is the reason of this. are you lacking behind in studies or your college is not providing quality education.
If u are week in studies then no college or institute can help you but if your institute is not academically strong then change your institute and move to best university where latest methodologies are use for teaching.such as VIT, Lovely professional University, IIT etc.
Lovely university is an international university which teaches with all the latest methods and varies methodology are used to improve a student. not even IIT and NIT come up with the techniques LPU is using. IIT's and NIT's even dont revise there syllabus for so many years.
You have to decide finally but dont lose your heart.there is a way of everything.
