To pursue Ph.D in commerce, you need to complete Masters Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks. The duration of the course is 2 years. The procedure is different for different universities. First of all, you have to choose the university in which you wish to join.

To pursue MS overseas you need to take the GRE and a test in English fluency. The Graduate Record Examination, GRE, is a standardized test, which includes the admission requirement for the graduate schools in the United States principally, and some other English speaking countries. This exam primarily focuses on testing the abstract thinking skills of the students. The areas that are covered include vocabulary, math and analytical writing. During the process of graduate school admissions, the emphasis level upon the GRE scores varies between schools. With a good GRE score you can also try for scholarships. After a GRE and TOEFL, you can use the scores to apply for admission to MTech, MS courses in subject of your choice. Funding criteria depends on country to country and college to college. However, you will be required to show proof of funds available and sound funding to go anywhere abroad. You must also prove that sufficient funds are or will be available from an identified and reliable financial source to defray all living and school expenses during the entire period of anticipated study. Specifically, applicants must prove they have enough readily available funds to meet all expenses for the first year of study, and that adequate funds will be available for each subsequent year of study. The proof of funding could also be in the form of documents showing approval of loan from a recognized bank as many students do go in for a student loan in case own funds are not available.

You would be glad to know that universities like UPES has come up with great programs with great curriculum in which they would not only deliver regular courses but also have inbuilt coaching schedule so that you can apply for various competitive exams. Check out its BA Public Policy with IAS coaching embedded program. UPES has embedded Civil Services Examination coaching along with the regular course curriculum for its BA programs. This university has joined hands with Sri Chaitanya IAS Academy which will soon be starting a centre in Vijaywada. IAS coaching by Shri Chaitanya to UPES students will be imparted on the UPES campus.
Definitely its a good option for those who wants to prepare for IAS alongwith their graduation. All these things you would not get in a any usual BA program.
Even if you do not want to prepare for Civil Services, UPES BA program is quite good as the rigorous studies & curriculum would help you to prepare for other govt jobs too.
I think you should inquire more about this program from the university officials like what all things would be included in this BA program to make it more effective for IAS preparation. CCNA is a popular certification in computer networking developed by Cisco Systems. Cisco created the CCNA to recognize basic competency in installation and support of medium-sized networks.
