Dear sir, you can try your luck in the vaccancies in DSNLU or Nlu cochi i.e after 3rd councelling is over, moreover you can try for NRI Sponsered seats in these universities if u can afford .but you need to be very particular in opting for the universities because most of them are conducted on the same date.

First I will advice you to check your AIR of JEE with last 3-year cut-off of all the leading institute participated in JoSSA counseling that is quite helpful in decision making. You can clearly see there which branch you can get in Different institute according to cutoff. It is expected that +500/-500 Rank can be a shift in the cutoff. It's not possible to get admission in any of the NITs. As students who get more than 99 percentile can only get admission in NITs due to limited seats and only 9 NITs offer B.Arch.
