There is no conventional learning involved in the pilot training course but a series of written and medical tests with hands-on practical flying time and instruction that help the student proceed through the course. There are around 110 flying/pilot training colleges in India, and out of them, approximately 98% are private. Normally, a student first gets a Student Pilot License (SPL), then moves on to a Private Pilot License (PPL), and then finally proceeds to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is an institution of national importance well known for its undergraduate medical course, MBBS. It takes admission on the basis of the NEET UG score for the MBBS course, which has 200 seats. Due to high competition, the cut-off is usually high even for state quotas. For instance, in 2021, for the Institute of National Importance Quota Seats (OPQ), the cutoff score was more than 690 marks for general candidates and more than 680 marks for OBC candidates. Similarly, for state quota seats, the cutoff score was more than 580 for general and more than 550 for OBC candidates. So to qualify for MBBS at JIPMER, you need a score above 650 in the open quota and 550 if you have a state quota.

The options from the candidates for various posts for which they are eligible in the opted Railway, shall be taken during submission of ONLINE applications. On completion of all stages of recruitment process, RRBs/RRCs shall allot post & Railway/Unit as per the option of the eligible candidates ONLY subject to merit, medical standard and vacancy position. Once candidates have been empanelled as per their merit/choice, they will forfeit the right to be considered for any other post/category. Candidates with partial options will be considered only for the specific categories opted by them. In case, no option is given for certain posts, it would be considered as their unwillingness for the same. So Posts will be allotted according to the application form, which have already submitted.
