If u r looking for MS in Networking then ur network basic concepts must solid. Like OSI layers, IP Addressing IPV4 & IPV6 Concepts, Wireless Network, VLAN, My suggestion is if u do CCNA it will help u a lot.

see.you are going to complete yout btech in 2013 in EEE , but the question is what you want to do in life. if you want to continue study and want to work as a scientist then you should go for MTECH in EEE and then for the doctorate degree. gaining knowledge is important but whats more important is how you apply that knowledge in your day to day life.and thats what it takes to work as a scientist. apart from that you have got a hell lot of options. you can go for mba from any reputed institutes like the IIM,XIMB,XLRI etc.if you are interested in management.
