Generally, to be eligible for the course, International students need to pass Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
English language requirements :
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.0 in the academic module (with no individual band below 6.0)
- Paper-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 550 (TWE 4.5)
- Internet-based TOEFL of 80 with a writing score of 20

Please remember American universities do not award or recognize the MBBS or BAMS.
In the US medical studies are only done at the graduate level. Undergraduate students complete BS degrees in chemistry, biochemsitry, biology or other science related fields, then take a difficult examination, the MCAT, and apply for admission to Medical schools that require four years of graduate study and award the MD or DO degree.
