No, CFP is a certificate course and PGDM is a Diploma course. For the jobs prospects, CFP (Certified Financial Planner) is better than PGDM. There are some institutes like Times Pro and ICICI Bank offering facility to pursue this course with a great placements opportunity in private banks. Also, CFP is a 6 months course and PGDM is a 1 year course and for fees both have similar structure.

If you have less than 50% marks in graduation, the chances to get admission in MBA are very less in good B-schools. If you get admission, you will definitely face challenges in campus placement as you may get filtered out in pre selection process, even before GD/PI round.

CAT and MAT exams require time. You can start your own preparation for both the exams by collecting material from the market. Later on, you can take coaching from a reputed institution and then solve old question papers to crack the exam.
