There won't a problem in taking an entrance exam, but during admissions, the colleges would ask for the 50% criteria in all fields.

Hello Murshida, You must understand the concept of placements in industry. They don't really need to know your grades as long as you are fulfilling the minimum requirements what they really care is your professional skills, ethics, work experience, attitude, emotional and spiritual values, etc. So don't worry about the grades only also work on personality development and soft skills that you will be needing further.
Good luck.
Thank you.

You will get access to almost all the colleges with commerce and maths after class 12th for B.Com. Though many have their entrance exams. There is a course called business maths, check it out if it is available in your city's school. It is the best option for commerce students, but if you are unable to cope up with class 12th maths no need to add an extra burden. Option for BBA in many colleges will still be open. However, with business maths, you will be eligible for all colleges commerce courses and it will not be as tough as science mathematics.

Hi Ravi,
Though your percentages are on lower side, it is certainly not impossible to get calls from ABC. But do remember that these 10th and 12th scores carry significant weights for calculating the composite scores. So, even after getting a call, it will be very difficult to get the final admission. Having said that, there are many other good MBA colleges that you can get if you score a good CAT percentile. So, my advice would be to not limit yourself to aim by aiming for a particular CAT score but rather aim to score as high as possible. Good scores do speak for themselves. All the best.

An MBA is a good option for you as you are a commerce graduate you can relate to subjects easily. Don't worry if you have not applied for CAT there are other exams which you can target like CMAT, MH- CET, NMAT, ATMA and MAT. Scoring in these entrance exams will help you get admission in a good MBA college.
