The IBSAT entrance test is conducted exclusively for admission to the ICFAI Business School. The NMAT exam is held for admission to NMIMS Mumbai and its campuses. As per the rules of the IBS from 2020 onward, the NMAT scores are also accepted for admission to the IBS. Therefore, you can give either of the tests to apply for admission to IBS. The IBSAT score is accepted for admission to the IBSAT and its nine campuses. On the other hand, NMAT scores are accepted in more than 50 management schools. The NMAT is considered more difficult than the IBSAT entrance test. Hence, you can decide as per your requirements. The IBSAT is easier for admission to IBS, but the NMAT is more acceptable.

As per the analysis of previous year's papers, the IBSAT exam is of moderate level. It is relatively easier than other management exams like the CAT MAT or CMAT. There are a total of 140 questions, divided into four sections. Each of these questions carries one mark. Since there is no negative marking, the IBSAT is relatively less challenging than an exam like the IIFT. Also, the Verbal Ability section dominates the question paper with 50 questions of moderate difficulty. This makes the IBSAT paper easier to score with just six months of preparation. There are four sections to the IIFT entrance exam syllabus. The following is the IIFT syllabus:

As per the syllabus and difficulty level, you need a minimum of three months to prepare for the IIFT entrance test. There are 110 questions divided into four sections. One of these GK sections can be completed in one month. The most important section is VARC which consists of reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar-based questions. This section can also be covered in around 1.5 months. The quantitative analysis and data interpretation sections may take some time to clarify fundamental concepts. However, you can cover these sections in a maximum of two months. You can save up to one month for mock test practice. Therefore, if you can allot eight hours a day to studying, the three months will be sufficient to prepare for the IIFT entrance exam.

Preparations:
1- Visit the official website to learn about the products BEL makes and try to include them in your answers as examples (about the company, when it was established, yearly turnover, etc. , like basic information about the company).
2- At least two subjects you know about (Using radar or communication or Electronics and communication, choose at least one of them. )

6- The most important thing is don't fight with the interviewer; if they say you are wrong, just explain your point of view and accept theirs. They will purposely put you in a trap to check your attitude whether you fight or handle things with a calm attitude.

The two most important sections of the IIFT exam are the quantitative analysis (QA) section and the verbal ability and reading comprehension section.
