If you are a B.Sc. Student in biotechnology or any other biological sciences related fields, it is highly recommended that you pursue your M.Sc. The job opportunities for B.Sc. Graduates in a highly research oriented field as biotechnology is very less and most students tend to pursue their M.Sc. In Biotechnology or a specialised discipline of biotechnology. India is home to some excellent M.Sc. Programs such as JNU, DU, IISc, TIFR, IITs etc. With an M.Sc. Degree, most students tend to work in research labs and industries as research assistants. The pay package is also quite less for M.Sc. Graduates. Since India is still developing, it is highly recommended that you do your M.Sc. In a reputed institution for good campus placements and job opportunities. If your university is not reputed, chances of any biotech company coming for placements will be zero. Many M.Sc. Students tend to pursue their Ph.D. degrees in Biotechnology or related fields as a Ph.D. degree opens up more avenues B.O.Th in India and worldwide. A Ph.D. degree will give you the ability to start your own research lab, become a professor or head of the department in universities or be the lead for a team of research scientists. If your goal is to create a niche for yourself in Biotechnology, then your the best BET will be to get a Ph.D.

CAT has a very little chance of any decent college. Try for Jaipuria, GL Bajaj, Amity, SNAP, SIMC and SITM. You may get the pharma course at NMIMS Mumbai. PGDM is not possible unfortunately. Please note that MBA is a huge investment of time and money and you do it generally once. Hence, try to get the best college you can. I am sure that with better and more focused preparation, you can get into the 80 percentile tier which will enable you decent schools. In India, only the top 30-35 colleges are considered worthy to join and at your percentile, none of them will be accepting you. Hence, my advise would be to re-take the CAT/XAT/IIFT/NMAT. Also, apply for MAT as some decent B-Schools accept that.

This engineering branch has been designed to train candidates to become Marine Engineers on Merchant Navy ships. At the end of the course, successful candidates are awarded the Class 4 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency. This certificate is awarded by the Ministry of Shipping, India.
