Hi,
MBA is a post grad degree whereas PGDM is a diploma. MBA are hence regulated by UGC where the syllabus may change after years whereas PGDM are industry driven. Anything that is required by the industries is updated immediately by the institutes.
IIMs provide PGDM and not MBA and the placements are evident of what to pursue.
I hope this gives you some clarity.

Hi Amisha,
This course is designed for students who want to pursue Bachelors in Management followed by an MBA. Most institutes these days are offering an integrated BBA+MBA that can be completed in three years, especially meant for students who don't want to spend a combined five years on both the degrees.
As the course offers both BBA and MBA, the students can aim for middle management level jobs immediately after the course in most industries like:
Manufacturing companies
Export and trading houses
You can refer this link for the career prospects after integrated BBA+MBA:

Hello Ravi, Most of the students think that once we enter a medical college, we just have to treat patients and don't have much dynamic career options like other professions. That is certainly not the case. MD/MS/Diploma - This is the most commonly chosen path after MBBS for people who wish to continue with their medical career. You can pursue post graduation in various specialities like internal medicine, general surgery, obs. & gynaecology, paediatrics, etc. For this you need to give AIPGMEE exam, held in December every year. There's no need to mention about the scope of this field as specialist Doctors are the need of the hour. MD/M

Hi,
If you are well prepared for CAT and your basics are clear, you need only a month for XAT.
If you can arrange enough quality material for practice, a coaching institute won't be necessary. However, it is always good to have mentors.
Try solving as many previous XAT papers as you can. It helps you strengthen your concepts and gives a fair idea of the time you will need for each section during the exam.
XAT also tests your GK and writing skills. These two do not need any extra attention if you are well read up on current affairs.
Emphasise on picking the right questions to attempt. It will help you balance your score across all the secti

Dear,
As per your query, you need to get the knowledge of HR policies and management skills. For that, you can think certificate or diploma in human resource from IIM.
They have specialised programme for a working professional to enhance their knowledge and skills.
As I understand, according to your statement, Llaw domain won't solve your purpose.
All the best.

Hi,
Case studies or caselets are now an integral part of MBA admissions. Often candidates are given small case files to analyse during group discussion (GD), instead of general topics. The idea is to scrutinise the candidates perspective, logical approach, quick thinking and problem solving attitude. Caselets require no prior knowledge of the subject. So what happens in a caselet? We were given 10 minutes to read a case summary followed by 10 minutes to write whatever we understood.
