The CS exam is a three stage exam divided into _Preleminary exam which is objective type and roughly ten times the candidates as per the vacanices are called for the second stage exam Mains which is descriptive type carrying 2000 marks and finally the interview of shortlisted candidates carrying 300 marks. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of total 2300 marks (2000 for Mains + 300 fr Interviews). Any leading book publisher in your area should be having the relevant books and study material required for preparing for the Civil Services. Further, it is the main text books of your Optional that are the most important for studying for the optional papers. If you still find it difficult to have adequate study material, try the option of enrolling for coaching through correspondence from some reputed Coaching Centers such as Brilliants. However, do keep in mind that there is no substitute for a planned, systemic preparation spanning 1-2 years for this prestigious exam. Also keep on applying for other exams such as PO exam conducted by various banks and RBI etc. so as to have a good practice and feel of the competitive exams.

Salary depends upon ur caliber, knowledge of the subject matter. Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like tu suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry as well. System Admin, Network Admin, Security Admin, Database Admin, Software Developer, Web Developer and many more. Most of the Servers are running on Linux Servers. If u choose Linux platform as ur career option will be the futuristic approach. RHCE, RHCSS, RHCEV, JBOSS, LAMP, WAMP, XAMP CCNA, MCSE, JCP, OCP are some of the Leading Specialization areas where u can get some International kind of quality Certification. Although the entire decision has to be yours and should be an outcome of your interest and career preference, but then as a piece of advise I would like to mention here is to go for a Bachelor in electronic engineering (lateral entry) and acquire an education base and after this you can opt for the MBA in Operation which shall directly compliment to your stream of Logistics, Supply chain etc. and will bring in better career prospects.

Hi poonam, How did you do your exam today? Hope that it was good. Thoughts about future keeps coming when you are wring your exams. It's quite natural. But you should not think about them now as it is not the right time. You still may have to write 4 papers and as far as my knowledge goes you have your exams till end of March. all of us who are in Shiksha will be there even then to help you, guide you, counsel you to choose a course that suits you. matches with your aptitude and interest. Sky is the limit if you want to grow. In sanskrit kalidas, a great poet says" Mudital Nervanga raani vidya kalade muddada nerpinchinan" There is nothing in this world which cannot ne learnt by a girl if she wants to do so. Have faith in your self and every thing will fall in place .

Hi Sarath,
As you are interested in becoming a VJ, I would suggest you to for an anchoring course as VJ is a person responsible for anchoring a show on T.V. Few qualities that a good anchor should posses are, A photogenic Face, good looks, good height, attractive voice, an appealing attitude etc.
Apart from the above mentioned skills I would also suggest you to go for an acting / anchoring course so that you can the necessary grooming.

Also I would suggest you to get a portfolio done and submit it in various AD agencies, Fashion houses, studios etc. as modeling can provide you the platform to enter the small screen.
