As you are from Maths stream and maths subject is covered by CSIR-NET. You are supposed to apply for CSIR-NET. This exam is mainly conducted for the Post-Graduation students who are from Science stream
CSIR-NET is conducted in 5 subjects excluding the compulsory subject which is General Aptitude.
1. Life Sciences
2. Chemical Sciences
3. Physical Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Earth Sciences.

Basically, admission process is a simple process for getting in the process may also include application form filling, Entrance Exam and Personal interview and after which counselling takes place and finally enrollment takes place where Fees has to be paid and it also includes document submission.

If wants to take admission in BE/B.Arch course in any branch, you have to give JEE MAINS exam in government +plus private college after the counselling procedure will be done by the JOSSA acc. To cutoff and your score u will get the college like IIT IIIT NIT government + private also. In this, you can choose branch as well. And also, conduct their own counselling's on the JEE MAINS marks basis + your HSC+2 %. So, check your state BE/B.Tech counselling also. Nab for many private and well known institutes, you can apply for their separate exams like VIT, SRMJEE UPSEE COMDECK LPU, bits MHT CET etc. Good luck.
