Rishu, First focus on learning game design. Platform is just an implementation things which is learnt once you are a game designer. To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as preproduction. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax and Character animations in Maya, Only the models are made with less polygons and more textures. . So choose a program that teaches you these software. It would not matter whether the programme is called game design programme or not. Rest, to become a level designer you must have a passion for physical games including card games, team games, etc. May I ask, have you ever tried to re-design an existing game? Hi Ankita, no doubt, career planning is one of the most crucial factors in one's life.
If you wish to take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology), the combination should be Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
If you are not interested in pursuing medical further, you may go for engineering courses, such as civil, mechanical, electronics, but for that you should have combination of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Apart form doing the degree level courses in science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas, such as, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration, hotel management, tourism management.
You can also opt for courses outside the university stream, such as hotel management, fashion technology, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses and a host of post plus two level vocational courses.
However, other than science stream you may even explore the opportunities commerce and humanities offer.
