Firstly u have not mentioned if u have cleared ur CPT or not? Anyways I am assuming that u have cleared it. See u need to understand one thing practically that if u are able to complete ur CA then it won't make much difference if have ur b.com regular or through correspondence but if in any case u r not able to clear ur CA and u have a b.com through correspondence then u will be in trouble. So assess yourself and ur situations and then decide for urself.
And speaking about the burden I would say that quite a part of b.com hons curriculum is similar to that of CA they complement each other.

Selecting a college is purely and entirely your decision. It would be tough to state a college as the best as every college has it's own plus and minus points.
While selecting, you just need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition whether it is recognized or not. Other than this, you also need to check year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
Be careful while selecting a college as merely getting a degree is not enough for this competitive world.
