It totally depends on your interest. Now you have to decide whether you want to pursue MBA or other course. If you want to pursue MBA without wasting one year year than you can opt for Distance/ Correspondence MBA.

After your graduation other than MBA you can choose a variety of further study options other than MBA or CA. the other options are law; travel and tourism; banking operations; hospitality management; mass communications; social work; IT courses; designing- graphic, web, fashion or others; multimedia; film making; public relations; multimedia; computerized accounting etc. As such a BBA will allow you to find options in BPOs, insurance companies, sales - banks, financial services, automobiles services etc; relationship management - operations in banks, FIIs etc; retail - management trainee; media from newspapers to television etc where graduates are sought

To become an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Exam.
The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc.
Academic Qualification:
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from a well known college or university.
You can opt fro graduation in any stream.
Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination.
-Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
Number of attempts:
Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.
Selection Process
The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
(i) CSAT (Objective type) comprising 2 exams : General Studies
(ii) Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)
CSAT-Prelim:
-Paper 1 is on General Studies
This includes areas like Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Basic Economic Understanding, Geography
While the dynamic part includes current affairs, GK and has no proper definition and syllabus making quite vast.
-Paper 2 includes mathematics, reasoning, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills. Unlike paper 1 which has a static part, paper 2 is dynamic in many sense.
The Main exam will consist of :
Essay
Modern Indian Language,
English
General Studies-I
General Studies-II
General Studies-III
General Studies-IV,
Optional Subject Paper –I
Optional Subject Paper-II

Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Science stream (class 12th) with physics, chemistry and maths/biology/agriculture as the subjects can opt for Bachelors degree as B.Sc Agriculture Science.

It'll be a little difficult to say anythnig about VIT because last year around 4,720 students were offered admissions at VIT University ,Vellore and Chennai.
Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling.
All major branches like CS, EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in chennai campus.
As far as AMRITA is concerned, I suggest you get in touch with the college officials as every college has a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

A national level examination, GATE -Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering is a qualifying exam for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.) in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other Government agencies. GATE scores may also be used by Public and Private Sector.
The exam tests the comprehensive understanding of candidate in various undergraduate subjects including Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science.
The exam, which is conducted online, encompasses 22 papers. The exam papers will have questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad. However, the rest of the questions are of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.

22 is too low a score to secure a seat in a government reputed college. However, you may appear for other entrance exams and secure a seat in a reputed institution.

With PCM combination of subjects, you can pursue almost any field you set your mind on. You can ofcourse do Engineering which is a professional degree and has streams such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic and Communication etc. You can do your graduation in subjects of your interest, even switching to Humanities or Commerce streams if you so desire.
