Thus, it is essential that you practice for it, by taking some random topics and then speaking on the same for 1 minute. This way you will be able to handle other topics as well and will help you to keep track of time as well.

At a percentile of 99+, there are high chances of getting a shortlist. Last year as well the cutoff to get a shortlist for the interview round was below 99. However please ensure that this is just the percentile to get a call for the next round and not for the final selection.

LPUNEST and VITEE are easier than BITSAT to crack.

but for good iit or nitur rank should be under10000-150000

According to quality of education NIT India is best, but when it comes after graduation the scope of getting a job there respective fields is easy in abroad.
If you study in NIT's and got placed in the campus then its fine, else you are an equivalent to a engineer from an normal engineering college.
