Eligibility
Open to all nationalities.
Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme leading to a first degree, with the exception of:
- Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine and the NTU-Georgia Tech Integrated Programmes where it will cover only the first three years of study in NTU.
- Renaissance Engineering Programme (REP) where it will only cover the years of study in Singapore. Financial aid in the form of loans/awards will be made available to finance the travelling and living expenses at the overseas partner university.
Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' level, Local Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
Excellent CCA records.
Strong leadership qualities and potential.
Benefits Of Award
Nanyang Scholarship covers up to the normal programme duration on condition that the scholar maintains a record of good academic performance and conduct satisfactory to the University.
Subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant) will be fully covered
Living allowance of S$6,000 per academic year
Book allowance of S$500 per academic year
Accommodation allowance of up to S$2,000 per academic year*
Computer allowance of S$1,500 (one-off)

tructure and Pattern of JNU MCA Entrance Exam
The MCA exam is of objective type having multiple choice questions. The students need to select the correct answer for each question. The exam duration is set to be 3 hours. The questions cover the areas of mathematics in the plus-two level. Some of the topic includes trigonometry, real analysis, differential equation and probability etc. It also includes questions from the graduate level computer science along with the general aptitude. The students should prepare from areas like data structure, C Language, Computer Organization, logical ability etc.
Qualification Criteria for JNU MCA Entrance Exam
A graduate from a recognized university with 55% mark in the qualifying exam is eligible to appear for the JNU MCA test. Besides he/she should have good proficiency in mathematics in the graduate or plus two level.
Application Procedure for JNU MCA Entrance Exam
The students can procure the submission form the University campus. They can also get the form through post. For that they have to send a self addressed cover along with the DD of the prerequisite amount. The students need to fill the form very carefully; any mistake will lead to lose your chance in appearing for the exam. The filled in application form can send to the given address.

Both the Univ are world class and are local universities in Singapore. Placements opportunities after studying at these Universities are very good.
Documents required to apply for admission- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation(2) {may not be requried but keep it handy}, A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page). Require IELTS or TOEFL if the medium of instruction during studies was not in English or if you can not provide a certificate stating the same.
Apply online with all these documents. If you have appeared for AIEEE then specify your rank as well.
