1. Eligibility-
* An Indian citizen
* A graduate in a relevant discipline from a recognized university
* Age- 21 years but you'll have a relaxation in the upper limit.
Blind, deaf-mute and Orthopaedically handicapped persons: upto a maximum of ten years.
If you also hail from SC/ST/OBC, then you will be eligible for grant of cumulative age-relaxation under both the categories.
2. There are a few points that needs to be in mind while selecting optional for IAS:-
*First and the foremost, you must be comfortable in grasping the concepts of the subject.
*Availability of study material is also an important factor in determining the optional subject.
*You should not choose a subject just because it's said to be scoring or your friends are choosing it.

Generally, to pursue Degree or Diploma course in interior design you need to complete plus two.
The admission in interior designing courses will be on the basis of the score in the institute's entrance exam and interview thereafter. For specific admission details please contact the institute officials personally.

Guidelines for preparing for Interior Designing Entrance Exams :
- For preparation, you require the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy. You need to know the content of the test, to ace it.
- Plan your preparation after knowing your strengths and weaknesses. You need to be organized and follow a time-table.
- When you get a grip over the basic syllabus, you may refer to mock tests / previous year's question papers to get an insight about the exam and it will also help you to understand the difficulty level of the paper and analyze your preparation and performance before the final exam.
