GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This examination is administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board. In this year GATE Examination, 15 subject papers will a computer based test: AE, AG, AR, BT, CE, CH, CY, GG, M.A. MN, MT, PH, TF, XE, and XL. And Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee, as required by MHRD, Government of India. You need to register and fill the application form of GATE examination online only, you have to visit the GATE's zonal website and fill the online application form. To apply for GATE examination, you have to complete your 4-year degree course in engineering or completed your postgraduate degree course from a recognised university.

To become an Income Tax Officer, one should first of all enter the Income Tax Department as Income Tax Inspector or Tax Assistant. Then they can get promotion to the designation of Income Tax Officer after qualifying the departmental examination. First step required for joining as Income Tax Inspector or Tax Assistant is to qualify Combined Graduate Level examination. After that, personal interview is there for Income Tax Inspector post and Skill test is there for Tax Assistant post. Educational requirements - Aspirants who want to appear for the written examination should complete their graduation (any discipline) from any University/College approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Age requirements - Maximum age limit specified to apply for the written examination is 27 years while minimum age limit is 18 years. Interview - Interview will include questions which test the personality of the candidates. There may be questions regarding the Income Tax Department, Corruption and other scenarios related to Taxation. A total of 100 marks are specified for the personal interview.

Eligibility for B.A. Distance Learning Degree Programs:

It depends on your interest and effort you put into a field. Maybe mechanics is little harder for some because you may not 'be good' at all the disciplines (programming is totally different than, say, Material Science), but you're not learning everything to an advanced level, so it's not that bad. Other courses are also pretty widespread, they just focus on things related to the main theme (f. e. Mechanical Engineering courses involve technology, welding, material Science, bearings knowledge and so on), whereas mechatronics have more distinct disciplines (brief survey of the mentioned ones, electronics, a bit of programming, etc).

The salary of an individual in this field depends in which field he is working; some professional B.Sc. Courses like IT and Computer Science have very good scope and pays handsome salary to the deserving students. The starting salary in this field may range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000.
