The eligibility criteria of MBA of DTU's is given below. Eligibility criteria : A Bachelors degree with minimum 60% of marks for general and 50% for SC/ST/PWD. Those who are appearing in final semester of their degree can also apply. Because DTU does not mention here about the acceptable mode of degrees for MBA course. Mechatronics is certainly harder than the other engineering courses as it's a combination of a few fields such as mechanics, electrical and electronics, robotics and so on. Even though it has a tough curriculum to pursue out, it is good towards the future. Since it opens up ways to various fields, the job opportunities will be more. As an Indian, I don't think it's easy to get jobs here for Mechatronics pursuers. It would be better to go abroad and work. Our life will be all set for the future days. It's anyway not a regretful decision to take up Mechatronics as our specialisation in engineering.

Among ECE and civil, civil is the best option. In ECE, mostly private jobs are available, but in civil, there are a lot of government jobs along with private jobs available. Also, as civil engineering is related to construction and the construction work is never going to stop. So, civil engineering will provide you with job security also and a bright future.
