You are basically asking about IIT. IIT doesn't provide lateral admission and not even regular admission through management quota. Your Diploma is however eligible for admission into mining engineering. I would suggest pursuing the course from another college.

B.Sc. Lateral entry is only possible if you had Diploma in the related field. Also distance for B.Sc. Chemistry is not available everywhere and might not even be valid even if it available. Check this institute. But it also has 3 year course. http://www.imtsedu.com/bsc-chemistry-distance-education.html.

What do you mean? If you are thinking about Lateral into B.Sc, then, you should understand why it is not a very popular option. Even institutes who provide it provide for non-core subjects like IT. http://www.lpu.in/programmes/bsc-it-lateral-entry. Or mention your current subject and the subject you want to change to. Someone should be able to give better option then.

I very much like the fact, that, Asia-Pacific Delhi is real transparent with their placement insights, and they keep it updated with not only company name but with picture of the student and the designation they have got placed in. You can check it yourself on https://www.asiapacific.edu/placed-students-2016-2018
Also, to believe the Business Today Ranking of Oct 2017, I have found that they are among the top 7 private B Schools in the North India, to be ranked in 100 percent Placement Performance. The average package have ranged in between 6.5 to 7.5 Lacs in the past 2-3 years.
