Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering AEEE to offer admissions to candidates in the institutes four-year B.Tech degree programme and 70% of the available seats are reserved for candidates with AEEE ranks. The cutoff for AEEE varies every year, and on the basis of previous year's trends, the cutoff for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in top colleges for open quota was around 6000, while for state quota it has been around 16500. Well, there seems to be a slight miss-match with the general trend of ratio between OBC Rank 1338 to General Rank 48k but According to your data if the OBC Rank 1338 You can get top branches like CSE, ECE, EEE in top 7 NITs like VNIT, NITC, NITW, NITRKL, NITK or MNIT which is a very good thing! Whereas it might be slightly difficult to get CSE branch in NIT-Trichy as CSE branch in NIT-Trichy has the highest cutoff amongst all NITs but you can still aim for CSE Branch in any of these 7 NITs (except for NIT-Trichy). Now talking about IITs, you need to provide your JEE Advanced Rank as JEE Mains Score cannot give you admission to IITs.
