In my view Distance learning B.Tech is not so beneficial as in that mode you will get less exposure to environment in which there is a high chance of getting knowledge through various friends and faculty, also in regular mode you interact with students from different locations, cultures and minds, you share here your views to different people and also get their views. But since you are working as a telecom engineer so I am quite expecting the reason of distance learning is your job. So in Our country there are many colleges and university which are approved by AICTE and UGC which offers distance learning B.Tech to all those who are not able to attend it regularly through physical mode. This course is only available for those who are Diploma holder or Working professionals and who don't get enough time to get through regular mode and want to get some skills related to different fields. The different fields are computer Science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, ECE, Electrical engineering, Mechanical etc. The PSU companies which offers job to Distance learners are SAIL, BHEL, ONGC, NTPC, GAIL, BPCL CIL etc. And also many other top famous companies. Here students attend class online or study through materials delivered to their homes via post. Here students evaluation is done through assignments, tests and through examination. Examination occurs at regional center of institutes.
